The renowned burning suites, developed by Roxio and Nero, include more functions each day, that allow us to perform all kinds of tasks with our digital files. But, as well as how expensive they are, they can actually saturate the user that only wants to place a backup copy of his files on an optical disc.

  ImgBurn is a complete, and at the same time simple, recording program specialized in the creation of CD and DVD images, this means, in obtaining identical copies to our discs. Through its intuitive interface we will access, by means of icons, to each of the functions: recording of the image on an optical disc or on a hard drive, creation of an image from a CD/DVD or from the files and folders of a hard drive, verification of the copy obtained and check the quality of your recordings.

  Some of the main features of ImgBurn are:
- Support for great variety of image files: BIN, DI, GI, CUE, IMG, ISO, MDS and NRG, among others.
- Possibility to create audio CDs from APE, FLAC, AAC, M4A, MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, PCM, WAV, WMA, … files.
- Functions to create video DVDs.
- Availability of a complete pack of configuration options.

  What's more, to improve each one of the tasks that ImgBurn can perform, it has five different modes: Read, Build, Write, Verify and Discovery.
